ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Walter.
I work as a SOC Analyst. Alongside that, I build and use AI-agent workflows in my own environment. This site is where I show that work, separately from my day job.
My agent environment is a personal project that has become part of my day. I use it for my calendar, appointments, email and news, as well as building things around security and automation.
One of those projects is a daily SOC briefing agent. It brings current vulnerabilities and threat intelligence together to help me and my colleagues at work see what needs our attention the most.
I also have a home lab, including a personal vulnerability scanner. It's somewhere to try things out and see where an agent's answer needs another question.
I want to keep developing that mix of security, agentic AI and automation. I'm also studying through LinkedIn Learning alongside the practical work.

I enjoy Dance Dance Revolution and Pump It Up, and I'm part of the Pump It Up Utrecht community.
United Factions
I help my brother with United Factions. I also run web servers and keep track of attack attempts.
Randomdata, Utrecht
I help prepare workshops at Randomdata in Utrecht.
Home lab & networking
In my own time, I work with networking and firewalls, including OPNsense.
I also enjoy reading and listening to podcasts.
